I love maple syrup. I’ve often wondered how it gets from tree sap to pancake syrup. I always just attributed it to Aunt Jememiah and her culinary crew.
Looks like a lot of work – but also a lot of fun too! We’ve got a grove of sugar maples but I’ve never been brave enough to undertake syrup making…maybe someday 🙂 Thanks for the inspiration!

We tap the tree and it collect in bags or buckets which we then bring back to the cook shack.

It does but well worth it, I like the smell the most when it’s cooking it smells amazing.
